The foundation of our practice is based on natural healing methods, including traditional Hawaiian bodywork therapy, also known as Mana Lomi.
Hale O Lomi Ola is home to Certified Mana Lomi Practitioners and members of ʻAhahui Hawaiʻi Lomilomi Association in the state of Arizona.
The word Aloha in Hawaiian can mean many things. However, in the most simplistic sense, and how it relates to our Lomi, it is love. That is the intention that comes through our practitioners hands.
Not all Lomi is created equal! With that said, it is important to know from what lineage your practitioner has received their Lomi training. All our practitioners have received their Mana Lomi training from Dr. Maka'ala Yates D.C.
Mana Lomi is based on native Hawaiian concepts, working with the mind, body, and soul. It is a deep, yet non invasive, powerful hands on healing massage that connects energetically down to the bones.
Mana Lomi ili ili hot stones are used to relax muscles more deeply. Traditionally, used as an extension of the practitioners hand and helps relax the muscles.
Hydrotherapy Hot Towel lomi massage helps with chronic pain in a natural and soothing way. Heat can help relieve tense muscles and help reduce inflammation. Hydrotherapy techniques can be used in a variety of ways to help you achieve the best results possible and relief of aches/pain.
I will come to you with my table, sheets, and supplies. Please send me an email as I am only available for out calls on certain week days and only between 10am - 3pm
Corporate, cultural, or special events. Are you hosting an event and looking to share the Aloha. Contact us for more information, and specifics on your event.
Lomilomi was never a textbook affair. The Hawaiian way of teaching and sharing has always been a personal gift passed from the Kumu (hawaiian teacher) to a chosen haumana (student) in a nonwritten form.
